A Past, Not Yet Come To Pass
Okay so once again apologies that I have not uploaded any of my game days. I have them but I have been so on and off with playing that I rarely have extra time that would be needed to now organize and filter through several hundred screenshots
In the meantime I do have some informal updates and theories. So I am at the point of meeting Venat in the past, and honestly Elpis has made me fall a bit more in love with this expansion. I am still on my theory of Meteion being our end boss. However I am truly hoping that the Elpis quest line is going to lead us to creating an alternate dimension where Etheirys is saved and remains a place we can visit. I know that is probably highly unlikely given Elidibus specifically said it was a one time use thing, but I really love these characters and the zones are so pretty. Seems a terrible waste to not be able to visit them in the future.
I also really really love the reactions from all of the unsundered to the fate of WoL's world. I think the lead up to Emet-Selch not understanding the grief Hermes feels over death was done really well to show why he does not find himself capable of doing such terrible and idiotic things in the future. Of course it would be difficult for him to understand the level of horror that is about to occur and the amount of time he will spend utterly alone. Even Venat being confused about why Hydaelyn gave up was cool. I was also pleasantly surprised about Venat being the former Azem, but that checks out. Additionally seeing the way the convocation members act toward each other is so interesting given how we see them in the future. They are empathetic, funny, and real. All of that personality and care is lost in the future, but you can see why that occurred.
Most of all I am very excited to how much I have managed to remain spoiler free of this despite engaging heavily in the fandom. Kudos!
