Male Au Ra Face 2 horn done :D also trying out a new method of attaching the horns using magnets in addition to the usual "just glue them to the headband" approach xD

I made a quick diagram to show how the tail works :) Also, since it's hollow inside, I realized I can thread a piece of wire through to to make it a bendable shape too :D

Tail Testing is done! TPU did end up feeling a bit better...or at least a lot less noisy hahaha So that's probably what I'm gonna use to cosplay my wol. I'm too lazy to remove the Emet Cosplay I made off my mannequin for now so he gets to demo the tail I guess lol. The connector plate should be worn under clothing but I did this as a quick demo so I didn't move his belt to be under his clothing. I'm planning on making a video to better show how to assemble the tail (it's really straight forward) but that might take a while before I get to it and considering Fanfest is coming up, I decided to release this earlier. so text instructions will have to do for now.

For my version, I printed 11 middle sections. So the total length of the tail is around 75cm. I initially printed 14 middle sections but that ended up too long for me (my Wol's tail is max length but I'm smoll irl so...) so I removed 3 sections to get a length I'm happy with.

Au Ra tail 4 Prototype and testing done!🎉 Fully 3D printed (besides 5 magnets) and modular so it can be lengthened or shorted as needed. Four 1.26 inch x 1/8 inch magnets to create a plate you wear with a belt under clothing and the tail just snaps on :D This way it allows more Wol Cosplay ideas :D

Currently testing printing this with TPU. I'll upload the file and stuff later when I finish that test :) Update: TPU testing was a success so I uploaded the model here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/fashion/ffxiv-au-ra-tail-4-articulated-and-modular
