(serpentumvectum) “🏥” (I hope it's okay?)
@serpentumvectum – ;
When news had reached her ears of Orochimaru’s survival, much of her hadn’t wanted to believe it. If only because she didn’t want to believe that his revival was permanent, that his obeisance to Sasuke during the war wouldn’t be enough. Had justice really been done, he would’ve been given a pardon in the form of imprisonment, of being sealed–something other than the leash he was put upon. Especially here, in a highly secure ward of Konoha’s Hospital that was usually reserved for patients of peerage, like the daimyou or Hokage. Or one of the higher echelons of one of Konoha’s clans that were practically like royalty. Instead, the Sannin’s smug, perpetually smirking visage met hers and a feeling of revulsion crawled down her spine.
Twenty years, and it had come to this. She could only imagine they had wish to keep him alive, kept as a weapon on hand when the village might need it. That was the only reason they were doing this, why they’d called her back; because Tsunade couldn’t stand the sight of him, and she was the only one experienced enough after her master. Keeping her hands neutrally at her side, Sakura made no move to disguise her aversion of him.
“Of all the people I could be called in to save– Why the hell does it have to be you?”
