5 Signs You're Already Manipulating Energy: Many Do These Daily Without Realizing ₊˚⊹☆
What Is Energy Manipulation?
Energy manipulation is the conscious direction of spiritual energy to create change in yourself, in others, or in your environment. Every spell that you cast, every ritual that you perform, and every intention that you set is a form of energy work.
If you're a practicing witch, you're already an energy manipulator. You just might not realize how naturally gifted you truly are!
Sign #1: You feel drained around certain people...
You walk into a room feeling great, but after talking to someone specific, you feel completely exhausted. Some may call this 'introverted', but it's not just limited to that. You're naturally sensing and absorbing the energy that's around you. Your energetic field is so open that you're unconsciously taking on what others are carrying. This is your first clue that you're energetically sensitive. Sign #2: Your mood shifts in different spaces...
Some places instantly make you feel peaceful, while others make you want to leave immediately. You're picking up on the residual energy that's been left behind in those locations. Hospitals, for example, feel heavy while nature can feel rejuvenating, and certain homes just feel "off" to you. You're naturally reading the energetic mark of spaces.
Sign #3: You 'just know' things about people...
Within minutes of meeting someone, you get a stronger sense of who they really are beyond what they're showing you. Your friends say you're a good judge of character, but it's more than that. You're instinctively reading their energetic brand and picking up on their true intentions and emotions. This is a natural aura reading in action.
Sign #4: You get strong feelings from objects...
Certain jewelry, crystals, or even furniture gives you specific feelings when you touch them. Vintage items might feel sad, someone's ring might feel warm and comforting, or a certain book might feel charged with knowledge. You're sensing the energy that's being imprinted on these objects through use and intention. This is psychometry, reading the energy history of items.
Sign #5: Your presence changes the room...
People often comment that they feel calmer around you or more energized after spending time with you. You don't even try; it just happens naturally. You're unconsciously projecting your own energy outward and influencing the energetic space around you. This is natural energy projection, a powerful skill to have.
Ready To Master These Abilities?
If you recognize yourself in these signs, you have natural energy manipulation gifts waiting to be developed further! Imagine what you could accomplish if you learned to consciously direct these abilities...
protect your energy from draining people/situations
cleanse and charge spaces with intention
read people and situations with accuracy
project healing energy to help others

How do you practice sensing energy?
Energy sensing is one of those foundational skills that can feel frustratingly vague when you’re starting out. Some people describe it as tingling in the hands, warmth or cold spots, pressure, static, or even that “magnetic push/pull” between the palms. Others experience it more through their psychic senses—seeing subtle glows, hearing impressions, or just knowing something is there. I’ve been putting together a series of beginner-friendly guides on energy manipulation and sensing, and the second installment just went live. This one dives deeper into the mechanics of energy, psychic senses, metaphysical anatomy (aura, chakras, nadis), and includes practical training techniques like:
The clap & rub method
Energy glove visualization
Hand scanning over the aura
Push-pull play between the palms
The goal is to treat these like energetic calisthenics—small daily practices that train your subtle body the same way physical workouts train your muscles. For those interested, you can check out the full guide here: 👉 Energy Manipulation & Sensing Guide – Beginner’s Edition 2: Energy Sensing Basics But I’d also love to hear from the community:
How did you first learn to sense energy?
What exercises or methods worked best for you?
Do you lean more on physical sensations or psychic impressions?
I think sharing experiences could really help beginners see how varied (and valid) energy perception can be.
Energy Manipulation 101
What people mean by “working with energy,” how it may function, and how to begin with intention.
Energy manipulation is a phrase often used in spiritual, magical, and healing spaces, but it can mean different things depending on tradition, worldview, and personal experience. Some people understand energy as a spiritual life force. Others view it as awareness of the nervous system, emotional atmosphere, focused intention, prayer, symbolism, or subtle body sensation.
There is no single universal definition. Different paths use different language. What matters most is approaching the practice with respect, discernment, and grounded expectations.
At its core, energy work is often the intentional direction of awareness, emotion, breath, and presence toward a desired state or purpose.
What Energy Work Can Look Like in Practice
Energy manipulation does not always look dramatic or mystical. In many cases, it appears as subtle inner shifts and intentional habits.
Examples include:
Grounding yourself after overwhelm
Centering before ritual, divination, or meditation
Visualizing protective boundaries before entering stressful environments
Clearing the mood of a room after conflict
Charging tools, candles, jewelry, or talismans with purpose
Directing calm through breathwork
Hands-on or hands-near modalities such as Reiki
Prayer, devotion, and ritual focus
Moving stagnant feelings through movement, sound, tears, journaling, or ritual release
Sometimes energy work is less about “adding power” and more about removing interference.
How It May Function
Depending on belief system, practitioners may interpret results through different lenses:
Spiritual Lens: You are interacting with subtle forces, spirits, life force, or sacred current.
Psychological Lens: Focused ritual, symbolism, and intention influence mindset, behavior, and emotional regulation.
Somatic Lens: Breath, posture, visualization, and awareness shift the nervous system and body state.
Relational Lens: Your presence affects the atmosphere around you, and conscious regulation changes interactions.
These perspectives do not have to compete. Many people hold more than one at once.
Foundational Skills for Beginners
Before trying advanced practices, build the basics.
1. Grounding
Grounding helps bring awareness into the body and present moment.
Try this: Stand or sit comfortably. Feel your feet or body supported. Breathe slowly. Imagine roots extending into the earth. With each exhale, release stress downward.
Best used when anxious, scattered, overstimulated, or after intense spiritual work.
2. Centering
Centering gathers your attention back into yourself.
Try this: Place a hand on your chest or belly. Imagine all scattered thoughts returning into one steady inner flame or point of calm.
Best used before divination, spellwork, client work, or difficult conversations.
3. Sensing Through the Hands
Rub your palms together for several seconds. Slowly separate them and move them closer again. Notice warmth, tingling, magnetic sensation, pressure, or subtle awareness.
Some view this as sensing energy, others see it as body awareness.
4. Boundary Setting
Visualize yourself surrounded by something protective:
Light
Stone
Thorned hedge
Flame
Ocean tide
Mirror shield
Ancestral presence
5. Breath Direction
Use breath to guide emotional state.
Example: Inhale steadiness for four counts. Hold for four. Exhale tension for four.
Repeat several rounds.
Practical Uses in Daily Life
Energy work becomes most useful when integrated into ordinary life.
Before work: center and set intention
After conflict: ground and release residue
Before sleep: soften energy and calm the body
Before social events: establish boundaries
During grief: create gentle holding rituals
During creativity: invite flow and focus
During burnout: prioritize restoration over forcing output
Common Mistakes Beginners Make
Trying to feel something dramatic immediately Subtle practices often build over time.
Using energy work to avoid real issues You may still need therapy, communication, medication, boundaries, or rest.
Overdoing cleansing and protection from fear Constant fear-based ritual can create more anxiety than peace.
Ignoring the body Sleep deprivation, dehydration, and stress often explain more than “bad energy.”
Giving power away to others No teacher or practitioner should convince you they control your destiny.
Ethics of Energy Work
If your practice involves others, this matters.
Do not send healing or energy work where it is unwelcome
Avoid claiming guaranteed results
Respect autonomy
Never replace licensed medical or mental health care with spiritual claims
Important:
I am sharing educational information from a spiritual and experiential perspective. I am not a licensed medical professional, therapist, or claiming guaranteed outcomes. Always use discernment and seek qualified care where needed.
Sometimes the most powerful energy work is drinking water, saying no, taking a nap, and protecting your peace.
Blessings,
Juniper
Hello! I would like to start the path of energy work but I have basically no idea how to. Can you help me? Thank you
A great majority of it is feeling things out (no pun intended). Trying things yourself. Past the basics, there simply is not a lot available.
Let's define some very basic terms so that you can look them up later. Anything past this is honestly something you will have to teach yourself, especially relating to healing work.
Grounding: Sending excess or unneeded energy into an object or a place, usually the Earth or the Earth's core (though this could technically go anywhere), and pulling energy back up to restore your system. This is an excellent way to cleanse yourself.
Centering: Bringing your energy back to yourself from various places that are not yourself, and directly the energy to settle correctly within your body (whether this be through a pillar, imagining it as whole, imagining all your energy centers filled, etc.).
Shielding: Essentially a personal ward, usually shaped in a bubble (though basic bubble shields are ill recommended for a number of reasons). These are not just used in fights, though usually they are consciously employed for these purposes.
Scanning: Examining anything energetic.
Programming: Giving energy instructions on what to do, which is crucial. Something that is already programmed, or rather, made for a specific purpose that is not explicitly a shield, is called a "construct".
"Psiball": An energy ball. One of the basics you will usually want to learn and implement at least a couple of times before moving on to other matters.
There has been a very sharp dwindle in resources since the 2000s-2010s, but some resources and people from there are still around. Unless otherwise listed, materials are completely free.

Can Ninjago transformers mecha turned into your Transformers and some TF like name characters being use as Cybertronians?
I wasn't going to really do this until you put the idea in my head and I thought "Hey, wait. The Cyber Ninja Dojo doesn't really have faculty."
Ok, I had to do this. No I am not sorry.
If he could read these posts. Omg
