looking back it makes perfect sense federico was willing to let ezell break a whole bunch of official laws for cecelia's sake because for all that federico does follow the laws of laterano he also thinks like 99% of the way people act about the law are completely ridiculous ("your prejudice is illogical" -> "the law exists to protect the precious fragility of human life") so when ezell is gun in hand fighting the entirety of laterano's racism and conspiracy that extends all the way up to the pope himself just to save the life of a little girl who isn't protected by the supposedly perfect laws of laterano out of prejudice when he himself is literally just some guy stepping in hes like "finally someone who makes sense"

Comic on the Sisters Dogmata by Skull_Cup
THE SOURCE
Also reminded of that comic @lazer_groove posted over their Inquisitor Callidia turning someone on their retinue into a Repentia for sudden insults, which had me wondering "Can an Inquisitor do that, would that gel with the Ecclesiarchy?"
But their Inq was formerly a Sister of renown, so maybe it's like a more jokey punishment for her junior sister to learn to not be rude towards her seniors.
