If you are thinking about armore plates, or already have some, here are the levels and the bullets they stop. I was awfully confused when I was looking at them and then I found this.
For those who have recently been interested in getting body armor. It is extremely tempting to buy Steel plates over ceramic plates. Either from price point or you’ve been told steel can handle more rounds or ceramic only works once or twice and your done.
Here is a $99 dollar Level IV ceramic Plate from Battle Steel. *this is the companies name there is no steel in this plate*
This thing took 3006AP x3, M855 x3, m193 x3, various 7.62x39, 308 x1, and 9mm fmj x20.
I am not advocating people buying cheap plates. If you are buying something that may save your life don’t go cheap.
