the morning & afternoon were as busy as it was ,  but that thankfully meant the rest of the evening & night more - or - less have gone off so far without much of a ramble from anyone else .   however ,  that also means everyone have their own stacks of written words to shove up Sibyl’s  “ system ”  in detail of telling what happened .   tch .   as if there aren’t enough cameras around the city itself that they don’t already know how everything happens ...

steadily making his way to a certain desk in mind ,  Giyuu quickened his pace once the fake metallic container was opened & posthaste was able to take Kagari’s drink from his hand before a single sip could be taken .

            a storm of tangled emotions broke apart akane’s previous expression of disbelief . it cannot be ... that was not right , that was not what she was told . kagari shuusei was a dead man --- Sybil made sure of it , it made sure she knew of it . hints of aging , the microexpressions , this inexplicable knot pulsating in her stomach . proof that this hallucination was no more -- it was reality . there was no dominator to back-up this newly found discovery , to approve of the existence of his form with the hue of his psyque . the abandoned patch of the city was one of the many Sybil’s eyes free locations , where no scanner could work & people was free to run around without a problem :   criminal or not . she could only rely on her judgement & a good hunch that she did not lose her mind yet . knees turn weak , failing her stand & causing the inspector to fall softly on the ground . 

            ‘ you are not ... an illusion ... ‘ cracked voice murmured in an almost breathless state , looking through all possibilities of kagari’s survival . a swarm of question arise , yet , leaving her speechless so long . ‘ kagari - kun ... you are ... ‘ alive ? yes , real ? most likely , and Sybil ? a big fat liar .       /      @enfrcr​

CYNICISM  BLEEDS  THROUGH ,   quiet  huff  leaving  alma’s  lips .  there  has  never  been  any  REASON  not  to  revere  his  position  and  the  opportunities  it  brings .   it  isn’t  the  same  for  kagari .   what  has  this  system  done ,   other  than  RIP  AWAY  the  only  chance  of  a  normal  life  he  could’ve  HAD ?   SHIMMERING  EXTERIOR  FOLDS  for  only  a  moment ,   jaw  tightening  aside  a  long - held,  silent  resentment .

             ‘   i  wouldn’t  say  you’re  being  HYPOCRITICAL . . .   even  so ,   we’d  know  best  of  ALL ,   right ?  ’          glancing  up  from  the  console  in  his  hands ,   very  little  can  be  done  to  disguise  the  tension  in  his  tone .          ‘  just . . .   be  safe ,   okay ?   it’s  a  lot  harder  out  there  for  you  than  it  is  for  me .  ’

his  voice  deserves  to  be  heard  too .

               ‘ contemplating life , killing boredom , visiting a friend …. also short on medication . so , I cannot sleep . ‘ kuro has still to respond her call for some sleeping pills . as always it was unsettling how she was allowed to walk out of her cell more often than most people — well , almost all people in the facility . it’s not like she was going to run off anyways , & nora was not a person to break a promise . completely in peace , despite the weariness on her visage , visiting kagari’s cell ( not knowing if he was asleep or not ) could distract her from the lack of sedatives . so she just sat down , resting back onto the transparent glass .

                   taken off guard , unaware he was at her apartment , akane almost let instincts kick in & react in self - defense . luck was on his side , when candy spoke right on time to the inspector , allowing akane to notice she was already offline , an event that only happens when kagari came to visit --- in order to avoid sybil into finding his whereabouts . 

                  ‘ good gracious , kagari - kun , don’t startle me like that . ‘ despite the choice of words , her face did not reflect a hint of discomfort , giving him free will to hug her . there was no official relation between them , but their interactions since their reunion months ago grew more away from a simply friendship nature .
