This was the commission I got for @zinglebert-bembledack's Valentine present this year. It illustrates a scene from a fic we wrote together that is one of Bitsy's favorites. (Mine too but she's reread this fic probably at least every other week since we started it.)

I kept not posting it because the fic - though HUGE - is unfinished and unposted.

But it seems the best way to announce that as of today, July 12, 2022, we are engaged.

Thank you, Bits, for coming to play D&D with @jortsman and I, for being my other half for two years, and for a million plus words about our blorbos.

(Also, thank you @herbgerblin for so beautifully illustrating the blorbos that brought us together in a favorite scene from a favorite fic.)

I have never felt more loved, cared for, and joy-filled than I do right now. On our beautiful vacation my sweet @dutchboyfingers asked me to marry her, and I said yes. I’ve told her I would say yes if she proposed with a ring pop but instead I got a beautiful custom made ring with lavender etched into it. Everything about the proposal was so thoughtful, but everything she does is thoughtful. I’m the luckiest woman in the world. I’m so grateful the world brought us together at exactly the right time, under exactly the right circumstances. 💕🌈 happy pride everyone

Congratulations to Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton on your engagement, though I think it is pretty obvious this has been true for awhile!
