Beaches brewery Engine 15 opened their Myrtle Street production brewery about a year and a half ago. The idea all along has been to have a taproom and beer garden at the new brewery, but zoning laws have restricted the brewery from realizing that dream. Of the breweries represented at Trench Day this year, I was more than a little amazed to see Jacksonville’s Engine 15 Brewing there. I had to drive up to St. Augustine to try them, and I never expected to see them in South Florida anytime soon.
But there they were, a tap of Route 90 Rye (American IPA, 6.5% ABV, 60 IBU) ready to go.
