Resonating Gauntlet. This Gauntlet vibrates at a given frequency that matches the resonating frequency of any wall. This causes the wall to collapse. Let the players find this in a dungeon where they can create new passages through walls to advance. However if they take down an important wall or too many walls the structural stability of the whole dungeon might be compromised, collapsing on them or a major area of the dungeon. This gives your dungeon a dinamic feel, where every decision must be well thought.

Make your token floating city not magical but magnetic. A huge contraption that floats based on electromagnetic principles. This is where the most renowned engineers in the land live and work on their new inventions. Dozens of blimps and other flying machines float in the sky above it.

DM idea: if you own one of these or any of it's predecessors, use them to build your dungeon maps on the table. For example: have a laser pointing to a mirror that is attached to a servo motor. When a button is pressed in another room the mirror turns directing the beam in another direction. When it hits the infrared sensor, the door opens. It is a simple example but imagine the possibilities!!!! You could have really complex puzzles that the players can interact with and the level of immersion in your game will go up a notch. PS. This can be done also with an Arduino or a Raspberry Pi. With these the possibilities are endless but require a higher knowledge of circuit design and programming.

Just started building this a while ago. It will go in the main room of the mechanical dungeon. The idea is that the PC'S have to find all gears so the mechanism that opens the door works. It is still a work in progress but I'll make sure to keep you updated.
