It's literally 12 hours past the match but I am still appalled by the reaction of the England Fans not by the team's performance. Like yes we win some and we lose some. It's a fucking sport. But no England fans had to make it dramatic and make it a racist ass abusive piece of shit day for the Italy fans and their own team. They've verbally abused Rashford, Saka and Sancho, sent them hate comments and threats, domestically abused their women and kids, vandalized places. Like sure as hell it's nor coming home if this is the state of the home. It was such a beautiful game but now they're ruining it. The problem wasn't the game or the loss or the players. The problem is each and every pseudo England fan who thinks it's okay to do all this crap and be a jerk. The problem is the mentality. Your sensitive ass couldn't take a hit so you had to hit your wife and daughter to feel manly? Suck a leg bitches.
I love England for the team and the player's efforts. I don't accept this crap, never have and never will. All my love to Rashford, Saka Sancho for being brave and taking this all in. I hope they all heal from this and I love them so much and I can't imagine their pain and hurt. But all the power to you my boys. You've made us proud. The whole team has made us proud. It was an incredible game to watch and I love every single ond of them 💙

Thomas Tuchel Laughs Off England Fans’ Jokes After World Cup Qualification | Sports Channel Exclusive
England head coach Thomas Tuchel showed his lighter side on Tuesday night as travelling supporters playfully mocked his recent criticism during England’s dominant 5-0 victory over Latvia in rainy Riga. As Sports Channel reports, the German tactician was all smiles after fans responded to his earlier comments about their lack of energy with a loud and witty comeback from the stands.
Fans Fire Back With British Wit
Just a week earlier, Tuchel made headlines for criticizing England supporters at Wembley, accusing them of not being vocal enough during the team’s 3-0 friendly win over Wales. The remarks drew mixed reactions from fans and pundits alike — but England’s travelling faithful made sure to respond in classic British fashion.
In Riga, the away section was lively from start to finish, cheering on the team as they secured their place in next year’s World Cup. At one point, chants of “Are we loud enough for you?” echoed across the stadium — a direct nod to Tuchel’s earlier remarks.
Rather than reacting defensively, Tuchel took it in stride, laughing and even applauding the creativity. “I got a bit of stick today in the first half, so fair enough,” he admitted after the match. “I take it in good humour, with a good sense of humour. I accept it. They had a reason today from my last comments and I guess that’s fair enough.”
Tuchel’s Reaction: A Smile, Not a Scowl
Tuchel, known for his intensity on the touchline, showed a more relaxed side during his post-match interview. He praised the fans’ wit and energy, acknowledging the cultural charm behind their teasing.
“I got a bit of stick and I found it quite creative,” he said with a grin. “It made me smile, and this is how it has to be. It’s British humour, and I surely can take it. No harm done.”
His response earned him appreciation from fans and media alike, demonstrating that the German coach understands — and can enjoy — the lighthearted spirit of English football culture.

A Night of Goals and Good Vibes
On the pitch, England delivered one of their best performances under Tuchel’s reign. The 5-0 win against Latvia was not only dominant but also secured their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The victory capped off a strong qualifying campaign, with the team displaying sharp attacking movement and defensive solidity despite the wet conditions.
Tuchel’s tactics worked perfectly as England pressed high, controlled possession, and punished Latvia’s defensive mistakes. Each goal was met with thunderous applause and songs from the away end, turning the rainy night in Riga into a celebratory atmosphere.
As Sports Channel highlighted during its live coverage, the result reinforced England’s position as one of Europe’s most consistent sides heading into the World Cup cycle.
From Frustration to Connection
Tuchel’s earlier comments about the fans stemmed from his desire to create a more unified relationship between the players and supporters. At Wembley, he had suggested that the crowd’s quietness affected the team’s momentum during matches.
However, the Riga fixture seemed to mark a turning point. The fans’ humor and enthusiasm bridged that gap, showing mutual understanding between the stands and the bench.
“The support today was brilliant,” Tuchel said warmly. “And we are very sure the support in America will be absolutely brilliant. We need it.”
The coach’s willingness to laugh at himself helped strengthen his bond with fans — a valuable development as England look ahead to the global stage.
Tuchel’s Growing Influence
Appointed earlier this year, Tuchel’s tenure as England boss has been marked by a balance of tactical precision and strong squad morale. His experience at clubs like Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Borussia Dortmund has given him a reputation for discipline and attention to detail.
Yet, Tuesday night’s exchange with fans showed another important side: humility and approachability. Sports Channel analysts observed that this moment may become a symbolic step in his relationship with England supporters, showing that even the most serious managers can embrace the fun side of football.
The Bigger Picture
England’s qualification for the World Cup — hosted by Canada, the United States, and Mexico in 2026 — marks another chapter in the nation’s journey under Tuchel’s guidance. The coach has implemented a more structured system while encouraging young talent to thrive in key positions.
With stars performing confidently and the fanbase showing renewed energy, England’s path to the tournament looks promising. Tuchel’s ability to merge tactical discipline with emotional connection could be the key to unlocking their full potential on the world stage.
Sports Channel’s Take
As Sports Channel reports, Tuchel’s interaction with fans reflects the essence of football culture — passion, humor, and unity. It also shows how a manager’s willingness to engage, even after criticism, can transform tension into connection.
The image of Tuchel smiling and clapping toward the stands while fans serenaded him summed up the night perfectly: a coach and his supporters finally on the same wavelength.
Looking Ahead
With qualification secured, England’s focus now turns to fine-tuning tactics and building momentum ahead of the World Cup. Tuchel’s challenge will be maintaining balance — keeping performances sharp while nurturing the lighthearted bond rekindled in Riga.
If Tuesday’s atmosphere is any indication, England’s fans will bring plenty of noise to North America — and this time, Tuchel might just be singing along.
