Happy Halloween! Haunted Houses, Trick-or-treating, costume parties, and candy! Below are my Top 5 Favorite stories:

After countless pictures of #tbt's of girls with sugar skull makeup and tons of “Welcome, October”, and so much orange his brain hurt, there was an ass. Bucky had to double check it was an ass, because he didn't think anyone would… but there it was, in all its glory, a nice round ass below a bony waist, and painted as a Jack O'Lantern. With glitter.

+ Modern AU. Bucky hires an artist to be his boyfriend so they can win the best decorated house competition. If the artist happens to be super cute, well that’s just a bonus

“We Got a Loving’ Thing” (G, 6k) by MacksDramaticShenanigans

Steve’s trying to think of a good response that doesn’t make him sound pathetic in front of Brock when a flash of leather catches his eyes. His Sandy. The man is only a few feet away, and before Steve can think his actions through he’s striding towards the man and sliding an arm around his waist, pulling him into his side.

Sandy looks like he’s about to say something— probably ask who the hell Steve is and what he’s doing, which would blow the lid off of Steve’s lie. Brock doesn't need more to taunt him about.

So Steve does what any normal person would do. He pulls Sandy in by the waist and leans in to lay one on him.

“Steve is a Fuckin Hot Ghost, Okay?” (NR, 7k) by itsmylifekay and WhatTheBodyGraspsNot

It’s that time of year again. Changing leaves. Hay rides. Haunted houses that scare Bucky so much that his friends have never been able to get him to set foot in one. It would be fine if it wasn’t a yearly tradition...being within arm’s reach of entering the house and then having Bucky wimp out at the last second. But this year is different. This year he’s going to prove to himself that he can do it, even if he’s doing it by himself. Or maybe, he realizes after nearly fainting from the new presence of one Steve Rogers behind him, he doesn’t necessarily have to be alone.

+ Modern AU. Bucky is having a Real Bad Time and Steve thinks he’s hilariously adorable

This meet cute follows Steve through his various pumpkins tragedies and meeting the cute pumpkin boy, Bucky.

First of all, this is incredible, thanks so much for taking the time! Also, I'd like to point out sth that might be relevant (spoilers to the s1 of Agent Carter): in AC, it's shown that Zola is in SSR custody in 1946. He meets Dr. Fennhoff, who was part of an organization called Leviathan, which seemed kinda like Russian HYDRA (and this organization was responsible for the Red Room). It's a brief scene that shows them being put in the same cell together. (1/2)

(2/2)I tried to make sense of that, and for me it’s like either HYDRA and Leviathan eventually merged (leaving the Red Room out of it?) or at least were in friendly enough terms they went “hey, we got an American soldier in the freezer if you’re interested”. Also, Dr. Fennhoff is a hypnotist who can make people see/do things, so he (and possibly other people with the same technique after he gets captured) might have been used to control Bucky if the Soviets didn’t have cryo yet.

That is a fascinating extra level to it, to be sure. I love that theory! I’ve only seen Agent Carter once, I should probably watch it again.

Hi, I'm trying to find a fic. I remember it's similar to Don't Ask, in that it's from (I think) Gabe Jones' pov about their relationship (or one of the other Howling Commandos, but I think it's Gabe because I remember in the end he marries Peggy). There's a specific scene I remember which is after Bucky dies and Steve asks for help to undo the straps on the back of his uniform because it's something Bucky always did for him. I hope that's enough info (and Happy Easter, if you celebrate it!)

Is it okay for a fic to be from another character's POV? It still features happy Steve, ofc.

Yes! Though Steve needs to be center of the fic, the story does not need to be told from his POV.Thank you for your question!

How exactly would this be about Tony and Peter, they've known each other for two years? Sure, their hug was a long time coming, but Steve and Bucky have been waiting since 1943.
