Day 1/100 of productivity. I don’t know who started this but I find it an amazing way to get motivated. I reread all my articles for my paper and finally started working on it. I need at least 4 pages by Tuesday but hopefully it’ll be done by then.

Yesterday's picture of me and and a friend working on our theses at the school library on a friday afternoon. It was funnier than I expected it to be and I even was kind of productive. Yesterday's study essentials: earplugs and coffee.

Day 3/100 of productivity. I’ve officially been working on this essay for over eleven hours. Send help. I’m having difficulty condensing my thoughts into the minimum of 6 pages.

Day 10/100 of productivity. I have been productive even without posting. The past 5 days I’ve been fighting a cough hybrid. Feeling soo much better today finally starting my English required reading I want to get out of the way this spring break. Whenever I read a book I have to write an essay on I like to highlight key points, as well as, write down good quotes and topics of each chapter.

Progress Blog #6: High School vs Drum Corps... Which do i choose?

Hello there! I am currently making my fourth writing assignment for english 1302, and a thought popped into my head. As you know, I am making my research paper about the growth of marching band, and i am using the time period of 1980-present. I have been using both high school and drum corps for examples of improvements in each, but i sometimes find myself doing more drum corps growing rather than high school. I think its because its easier to find a timeline with when everything started in drum corps since it is recorded by DCI, but then it brings up the question; should i just do drum corps growth or continue to use both? I’ve been enjoying using both because i can also show how drum corps reflects onto high school marching programs, which goes along with proving how the recent changes have been changing the activity all together. But in the end, i feel like i am only showing the changes from drum corps marching band. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’ve been voluntold to help my little brother with his paper on Wonder Woman and Feminism...I’d give him an A.
