As for Wendy! Again, I really liked her. More when she was sober/trying to be a better person. But the thing she did that irritated me was when she showed up wanting to be part of Abel's life again. Now if she had come in & asked to be like an Aunt or friend to Abel & like she really did just want to know Abel, I would have been more on her side. But I think it's really unfair and even entitled to come to the woman who raised him & demand to be his mother again just like that.

I agree completely. I did not agree with how she showed up demanding to see Abel. 

Of course, I think she did do the right thing by going to Tara first. I just didn’t like the attitude. I don’t think she is thought dense to just disregard Tara has been raising her son. 

And I really did like Wendy when she disregarded Gemma and directly dealt with Tara after those first interactions in season 5. Like I said season 6 and beyond my dislike for Wendy...just exploded. 

And I can’t even fault like her character, but she was just a glorified babysitter.

After that troll Anon, I felt you deserved a happy ask. So how about sharing if you have any headcanons/ideas of a cute childhood moment between Alice and Rogers! Or maybe what you think the first thing Alice and Rogers did together after the curse was finally lifted and they could have a normal father-daughter day out together!

They went on a sailing trip, of course!

Alice never sailed while on her trips, because it reminded her of her separation from her papa :( So when their curse is lifted, they locate Smee and the Jolly Roger and he takes her sailing, off to all different far away places, even “Alice from Wonderland and Other Places” has never seen anything like that. 

He teaches her sword play at the deck, then she darts off and she sings shanties with the rest of the crew.

Oh, that was supposed to be a day. Oh well XD Perhaps they do manage it in a day. The Jolly Roger is the fastest ship, so they hop on to every different place Game-of-Thrones-s7&8 style.

I also headcanon that while in the tower, Killian shared with her all the places he’d hidden treasure, making complete maps for her and all, and also had told her where he stashed some of that gold in the tower, in any case. So when she escaped, she snatched that gold and the treasure maps... and then she went realm hopping, finding the money her papa had unknowingly managed to provide to her even when he was forced to be away :3

I feel like pulling my hair out for some Rewatches. They just. Completely gloss over Regina's crimes altogether. Or else they just go on about how she's the victim because she's sad. Boo f*****g hoo.

Seriously though I want to just start screaming at them that her actions as a villain do not exist in a vacuum separate from her role asa goddamned parent. Like... oh look she gave her kid a toy she knew he’d like, but it’s not an action within a vacuum. She still purposefully destroyed his castle to ruin a place he had with Emma, a place he’d been going to long before Emma and that was special to him. I can’t remember if she knew that the book was there or not, but even disregarding the book she still purposefully did something she knew would hurt him. And then she tries to buy him back with a fucking video game. It doesn’t matter that she’s making a sad face! Like???

Her actions against Emma and against the entire Charming family are not separate from Henry. They effect him. That’s the whole fucking problem.....

Just because she’s pretty and cries and makes a sad face does not make her a victim in this story. And it blows my mind just how many people are willing to buy into the sham.

See, personally, out of all of the ones I’ve seen crop up, I prefer Curious Archer the most. Rabbit Bow would be the second because it’s just preciously cute and adorable, and then Mad Archer would actually be the third on my choices, mainly because, like I said, when I think the ‘mad’ I think of Mad Hatter (i.e., Mad Swan and all). I’d want something uniquely Alice, that doesn’t tie into another character...

I read you like SOA discussion! So wanted to discuss Tara & Wendy since I like them both but they also both did things that irritated me in the show. 1st off Tara: I really did like Tara (especially in S6) but felt she was way too hard on Lyla. To the point where she was almost a downright bitch to her. And I'm still not sure if this was because she was still angry at Ima and took it out on all porn stars or if she has a legit prejudice against sex workers in general the way some people do.

Yeah. 

I never really understand Tara’s attitude towards Ima especially since Kurt never took the time to develop that relationship. I believe after Opie’s death, Lyla could have flourished and maybe been a nice parallel for Tara in season 6, or just a friend. 

But I sort of thought Tara’s attitude came from her view of porn stars due to Ima. 

All I know Lyla was never allowed to be a character and I wish she was.

So I just made a twitter poll about this cause I got thinking and now I'm really curious so I'm asking a couple Killian fans that I follow... How long do you think Wish Killian spent thinking things over after Gothel left before deciding to give up everything (his revenge, his ship, his life as a pirate) in order to look after Alice?

So @bleebug posted a perfect answer to this, one I wholeheartedly agree with and had feels over, but I'm gonna reply anyway, though my question is pretty similar.

I have a feeling that the moment Gothel left, he started berating himself for not stopping her. True, she had magic which he had no idea how it worked or how powerful it was, but maybe he could've grabbed her before she left, knock her out or tie her down, then grab the baby and get the fuck outta there. And then he turned to look at her, and yeah, for a few moments, he was like "Shit what do".

But it mustn't have taken long. He walked over to the baby, still and calm and sleeping peacefully, having no idea what malicious plan she was dragged into before she was even conceived, and it just hit him. He can't leave her there. Maybe he even tried to check if the spell was really doing what he was told. Maybe he picked her up and saw that the forcs field didn't allow her tiny form to go further, even though his arms did.

Trapped from birth.

Maybe he thought of himself. How he was also trapped as a servant in that ship, and how he'd dreamt of someone saving him and Liam until he was crushed down to the drinking, self-hating mess we saw in 5x15.

He couldn't let that baby grow up like that. And not just because she was his; but because no kid deserved that... especially Baelfire.

So he looked at her in his arms, still calm and still as if she could sense it was her father holding her... as if she felt safe and comfortable in his arms, as if she trusted him...

And by then he was gone.
