I’ve always been jealous of Courf, Ferre and Enjolras’s friendship on Grantaire’s behalf. They just seemed to get along so well -that’s the point of bestfriends- and there was Grantaire, always getting shouted at by Apollo.

Grantaire:Do you ever just feel like declaring to the world your love? Like stand on the top of a mountain, take a megaphone and give that godsend angel a shoutout? Make the world take notice of him? Treat him like the god he is?
Enjolras says he doesn’t know where my cynicism comes from, but I’m not a cynic. I’m a realist. It’s better to see life as it is, not as you wish it to be. Things don’t happen for a reason. They just happen.
