There's something strange happening on the East Coast & it's on Hell's radar, which means it must be serious. After a meeting with some officials -- yes, a meeting. Azula had whipped Hell into shape after taking it over -- it was decided that she would check it out and see if it was worth keeping an eye on.
She's in her queen vessel, the one she wears when attending to matters that directly affect her kingdom [ & ] this definitely does. It's with authority that she walks through the city, which slowly becomes colder as she nears the heart of it. Finally she enters the epicenter of the "crisis zone," as it was named by her officials, and finds a house, which is more suspicious than the situation itself.
Of course she doesn't want to go in alone; there could be an ambush waiting. But something feels familiar [ & ] she takes a chance, twisting the doorknob and stepping over the threshold.
She shivers as she wanders further into the house and pulls her jacket closer around her body, becoming even more alarmed about what's actually going on when she spots Klaus --
Not the real him, anyhow.
Either way, she has him stopped dead in her tracks and she's considering running, but she's three feet away from him and she knows that he knows she's here -- and who she is.
So she takes a deep breath, steadying her vessel's heart rate. Her hands are shaking the closer she gets to him [ & ] her voice comes out in am almost terrified whisper.
It's been centuries since she last saw him and when she did, he was wearing a much different man, one that meant nothing to her, unlike the one he was in now. She wants to be angry that he's taken up residence in one of her closest friends, but to have her father back and walking the Earth almost makes Klaus' suffering worth it.
❝W-what are you doing here--?❞
