A man without a name, having dedicated his life to the guidance of others. Many would call it a sad existence but he was content with it. The man simply known as ‘Mentor’ found himself late at night at the bar. Most of the patrons had already headed out, his pupil on an assignment with her partner, it left him to do just as he pleased, having a drink. Elbows rested on the bar, the half-empty glass being toyed with a little bit. It wasn’t his first but also not enough to have a noticeable effect on him. 

After a while he’d look over, watching the man at the other end of the bar, the only other customer at this hour. “Young soul, you seem troubled. Is everything well?” He had a hard time minding his business and while it could lead to some unpleasant first encounters, in the end it was better than to not reach out.

The Hakata Crew spends a night at an onsen. Banba and Lin are cuddling on the side and suddenly Lin drops the phrase "wǒ ài nǐ".

Banba: Hm? What's that?

Lin: Shut up. Look it up yourself, Ban-baka.

Naturally, Banba asks Enokida for help.

Banba: Enokida-kun, can you look up Chinese for me?

Enokida: Sure. What exactly?

Banba: Oh, right. I think Lin said something like wo ai ni...or something.

Enokida blinks. He hasn't even opened the translator app yet but instead locks his phone and puts it in his pocket.

Enokida: Yeah, no. I'll go to sleep. Good night, Banba-san.

Banba never found out what the phrase does mean.
