So, colleges don't do this "Enrollment Appointment" I'm hearing about. Could you tell me what that is?

The enrolment appointment is where you are provided with some further information about your program and are walked through the course enrolment process. You can book this appointment online, usually through MyFile and it will give you the location on campus where you can go :) You will usually be sent to a computer lab with a bunch of other students from your Faculty. I recommend booking it sooner rather than later so you have the opportunity to enrol before classes start filling up. Hope this helps!

Hi, I am a student that is transfering from another university to York and I just set my enrollment appointment. I am wondering if I wait until I go to the enrollment appointment to enroll into classes and what the enrollment appointment consists of. Also, how can I tell the courses and course numbers for those courses that are needed from York University to be able to apply to University of Toronto's PharmD program? Thank you

You do wait for the enrolment appointment to enrol, that's a big portion of it actually. They will also give you a program handbook and go over your degree requirements and go over any questions you might have. 

For which courses - I recommend looking up their PharmD program and seeing what the requirements are and then printing off that information and bringing it to your enrolment appointment. The advisor can help set you in the right direction and if not we can help (just do your appt first though).

Lately many TUMBLR users have been writing posts about their acceptances to York. Congrats to everyone who got accepted! If you haven’t received a decision, don’t give up just yet. Admissions go out on a rolling basis; I got mine pretty late when I was accepted. After you're accepted, the next step is to plan and attend an enrolment appointment. When I was in first year, my appointment took place in 103 Central Square (a.k.a, the Centre for Student Success) and, frankly, it took me forever to find that office. For those who have their appointment in the same place (typically LA&PS students), this picture post will be kind of a mini-guide; it starts off at the bus loop and ends up at Central Square. Hopefully, now, you'll spend a smaller amount of time being lost or, even better, you won't get lost at all.
