Gina is also a main cast ensemble member
All the ensemble members should be treated in the exact same way. This is the point of an ensemble contract. Gina however was not treated like any other member. She hasn't been given motivations, backstory, moments of vulnerability or context for her actions why does she act this way. She also doesn't get a completed arc. As a result the character of Gina has no dimension. She doesn't resonate with the viewers. We haven't been given a reason to really care for her.
