OLIVIER, FOR ONCE, FEELS CALM. the scent of last night’s job still lingers on him this morning, all smoke and heat. the flames that usually lick at his ribcage are satisfied at the memory of licking brick to blacken and the cracking timbers of a warehouse belonging to someone who ought not have been there. he didn’t know who or what had been inside and he didn’t much care. that was the job of who hired him, not his. it was a good fall, and he had been sure to destroy everything inside the building. the rush of power, surrounded in flames had quelled the ache in him that had been getting too fierce; gnawing at him with nightmares and grief to rend a chasm of despair-

it had been good to feel warm.

but, to linger in the idea of flames for too long is not a good idea lest they get greedy again. olivier closes his eyes and takes a breath, still smelling smoke and seeing orange tongues lick and devour. he longs for a cigarette. he has to try and continue as normal though, so he takes himself to the broom and begins his usual cleaning routine for the store. he could do this at least still in memory of renee. they never get busy enough anyway for it to make a difference whether he does it while closed or open - but a ring of the bell as the door swing may prove him wrong. he looks around a bookshelf to see who is there.

a man roughly his age, with dark curls and a set to his shoulders that has the coals in his chest flare a moment. (a look like that has been his downfall before, they warn. but he’s stronger now.) ollie observes a moment longer, the man seems to be peering around as if he is looking for someone. that’s his cue to step out, adjusting his green apron and leaning the broom against the wall.

again important things to my canon i could probably type up more on when i want to:

For ANY thread/plot set beyond the golden age of narnia ( aka any time after the Pevensies have gone back through the wardrobe ) there is the possibility of there being a mention of ISAAC. Isaac ( @entraum ) was Peter’s personal guard from the moment the Pevensies were crowned until the moment they disappeared back to Earth. He was a WEREWOLF who was frozen solid by Jadis at some point during the 100 years of winter. He was freed by Aslan’s breath as he was a trophy statue in the castle, and he joined the fight along with the other freed Narnians. Because he was a werewolf, there were many who didn’t think to trust him, but his loyalty was proven time and time again. He was usually in a wolf form ( though as with other creatures he continued to be able to speak ) but felt comfortable with Peter in his human form.

It’s VERY important to note that ISAAC WAS THE FIRST LOVE OF PETER’S LIFE. They spent years getting to know each other, and Isaac spent all of this time proving why he was worthy of being in the king’s guard. Their trust turned to friendship which turned to love over the decades of Peter’s reign. Isaac was the person that Peter trusted beyond his siblings. Isaac was always there to lift him up on and off the battlefield.

Despite the fact that he comes back to Earth as a 14 year old boy, he has the memories of a GREAT LOVE STORY in his mind. He will never forget Isaac. Ever. Nor does he want to. IF Isaac is in Aslan’s Country come the Last Battle, Peter would have a hard time choosing to leave. In fact, he wouldn’t. ( which, having the ability to choose to leave is a canon divergence for me to start with as instead of having the friends of narnia die I have decided to have them fall into comas on Earth during the duration of TLB, which leaves space for some of them to wake and some of them to stay in Aslan’s Country. ) 

NOTE: In verses where there is a romantic plot line occurring DURING the Golden Age for Peter, Isaac is still his guard and his closest friend, their relationship just doesn’t develop beyond platonic love. But ISAAC is and always will be mentioned as someone important to him.

ISAAC LAHEY / @entraum​ gets a semi-plotted thing

     IT’S NICE TO BE SETTLED somewhere and to have a friend. one that isn’t bound by the fragile confines of humanity ( she can only wish to have that luxury again ) and doomed to die eventually. isaac is unexpected and she’s almost still in awe sometimes. a werewolf and a vampire aren’t exactly slated to be friendly let alone actual friends, but here they are regardless.      a century of consistently running bouncing from once place to another all over the globe has taught her it’s better to keep attachments as few to none–she’s chosen none.      now that number has reached one.

     even after this long, rayne still laughs sometimes about how they met. it almost doesn’t seem real that she walked into the only tattoo shop in the city with a werewolf working in it. if she believed in higher powers she might think someone orchestrated it. then again, she doesn’t much believe in coincidences either.

          “matters  very  little  if  you  believe.”  accent  is  even  thicker  with  the  slur.  he  was,  of  course,  lying  when  he  said  that  he  was  sober.  he  can’t  even  stand  on  his  own  just  yet,  so  has  slumped  against  the  wall.  he  had  hoped  to  make  it  home,  but  he’s  not  so  certain  where  that  is  at  the  moment.  he  may  have  gotten  the  tiniest  bit  turned  around.  he  likes  this  place  he’s  in;  he  barely  even  cares  that  the  stranger  is  a  wolf.  naturally  warning  bells  and  panic  would  be  going  off  by  now.  he  wishes  he  could  stay  in  this  place  forever...  “is  all  fine.”  //  @entraum  cont.

Dean is a super heterosexual lady's man.

okay so the show always likes to portray dean as this super confident lady’s man and that he can just get whatever woman he wants and just constantly sleeps around. while yes, that’s true to an extent, i think a lot of it is because he’s incredibly insecure with himself more than anything. dean uses sex as a coping mechanism more than he should, and what we’ve been shown is that it’s with women. 

HOWEVER

we all know that’s a lie. regardless of what the show gives us, i do think that dean has had plenty of non-straight sexual experiences. and a lot of them stem back to when he was much younger and trying to figure out who he was. the way he was raised wouldn’t allow him to truly explore his sexuality, and i believe he always thought if he told anyone about it that he’d be shunned from the life he was in ( which we later see two gay hunters together, and i honestly think that was kind of a turning point for him ). so he spent a lot of time when he was younger trying to piece together how he felt about his sexuality and honestly just never really figured it out completely.

if you look at his interactions with women, he’s very straight forward and confident with them because that’s his safe zone. women are much easier for him to deal with because he has had more interactions with them and he has had more sexual encounters with them. he loves the softness of a women, the curves, and the way thy smell and feel against him. ( he’s very much a switch when it comes to women too honestly. ) 

but if you look at his interactions with men - let me present some evidence for you:

and then let’s not forget that the only excuse he gave to aaron was that he was in the middle of an investigation and couldn’t go on a date with him. not that he was straight or not attracted to men. 

anyway – that out of the way. i think dean is very awkward around men that he’s attracted to because he doesn’t really know how to approach them or the subject of his sexuality. i think he’s still that scared boy who’s unsure of who he is and afraid to let anyone else know because it will make him seem ‘less masculine’ or ‘less manly’ and that’s not how he was raised. it was drilled into him at a young age to be the ‘man’ of the house when john wasn’t around. and in dean’s mind that did not include questioning your sexuality. generally a lot of it just stems back to his childhood and having to be the ‘strong one’ and being a soldier for his father hammered into him nonstop. he grew up with this toxic sense of what it meant to be a man, and he’s struggled with that ever since. he’s getting older, and even if it’s been a very long process i do think that one day he’ll be comfortable enough with himself to be more open about his attraction to both men and women. 

even if the show never addresses it, this is a very common theme on this blog. dean is very much bisexual, he has had sexual encounters with both men and women. and while women are usually his go-to, he is very much also attracted to men but much less likely to act on it in his canon verses. and we don’t have the time to go into the other ones. :’)
