[Tobias subconsciously started sitting straighter the closer the shuttlecraft got to the planet. He started his process where he gathered what little authority he actually felt he had, in conjunction with his outward authority and turned it into what his position would someday be. He stopped talking to Atla- Lieutenant Atlas Baxter  shortly before they landed giving the man a short nod and smile before he set his body language to something more professional. He would loosen up again after he got a feel for the crew, by all reports he would not be the oddest personality on board so he wasnt too worried. At least for his first impression he needed to be as professional as was possible. Of course all of that careful schooling of his features nearly went out the window as soon as he took his first steps out of the shuttle. Giant waving tentacles of ..eyes..? oooh and snow...! ]

[He had very nearly grabbed a handful of snow to shove down someones back before he noticed  a tall slim form nearby. He turned himself to full attention noting the Commander's stripes and saluted. he managed to ahnd his orders over without fumbling them which was a nice change.
