it is hard to find the meaning in a meaningless void. it is hard to unwire yourself of the fall you have been rushing through for years. it is hard to believe people’s words coming from people that don’t show enough of themselves at their core for you to really see if they understand. and my words come from a different time and place from who i once was. though i believe i can understand because i had once truly felt my insides empty and my heart rotten with holes—but not now. not today. so i don’t know if i can, with my whole heart, understand. but from the renewed mouth and thoughts and bones and words i have now, i wish to tell you, life is an absolute spectrum. to see its colors fully, we must go through the brightest and the darkest ones. perhaps, only then may we see—it is a rainbow.
