Here at Envirolution HQ,

After lots of debate we have decided to take the brave decision to take a gap year from the Envirolution festival this year.

Fear not! We have still got a fun packed summer planned!.... We have decided to focus our energy on lots of smaller low key events throughout the summer, as well as...

Reorganising the boathouse HQ, creating an action plan and applying for funding for the space. We will be running skill sharing sessions and cinema nights from there too.

We will be going on tour to other festivals and events around the UK running skill sharing workshops for all ages.....  :)

Kicking off our summer of fun with the BIG LUNCH, we'll be in the park Sunday June 7th. Getting back to the basics, we would like to see the community come together and share food, drink, stories and ideas.

There are plenty of ways you can get involved in all of these activities, please get in touch if you have any question or just watch this space!

Envirolution™ is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Reno, Nevada who is dedicated to developing and scaling dynamic K-12 education, job training, leadership academy, and community outreach programs centered around green industries and green energy. We aim to drive the growth of the green economy, thus increasing the number of jobs available in green industries. Our community-based green economy solutions prepare the future and current workforce for green jobs while simultaneously increasing the public demand for green products and services.

Envirolution, Platt Fields Park (2012.07.21) Drum collective Wangari performing at Envirolution, a festival in Platt Fields Park promoting sustainable living.  The appearance of the tent is not cohesive, suggesting an openness to the contributions of a number of people.  Most of the crowd is behind me, some with picnics, though a woman watches to the bottom left, monopolising a wooden bench.  The tent is not solely for performers; young children sit on a settee and a group talks and dances.  To the right, one of the next performers (in green) prepares a minibike.
