You should look into solarpunk stuff if you haven’t already. I’m not talking about the genre but the movement. Solarpunk action week is the type of stuff I’m talking about.
Do you have links to articles or anything? I searched it and it definitely seems like something I could be interested in but I couldn’t find a clear definition of what it actually is and stands for. The general idea that I took from it was that it’s similar to self sustainability and just in general trying to decrease the carbon footprint, is that any sort of close to correct?
Are there any good Solarpunk blogs on tumblr?

I'm pissed
My friend's friend/dating fiance says that we shouldn't do the environmental strike/protest because there is no point to it. Well, excuse me then how did the suffragette work, unions and labour rights? How did those happen? Because we went on fucking strike and held a protest. I'm planning on taking environmental chem next year, I know what I'm talking about, stop acting like you know everything.
Interesting fact, There are more trees here Than any other place I’ve ever been. Tresses lining all your roads, Your towns are choked with them. It’s strange that there are more trees here, More trees than northern Michigan Northern Michigan. What’s the first thing you think of when you think of northern michigan? Lakes, Animals, Trees. The first thing I think about? Pollution, Hunting, Clearcutting. A state whose income is based on the environment, Destroys it with no regard for the future. A state who claims such grand natural connection, Forces nature into pockets. Special “protected” hiking areas. Nature should not need protection from the greed of man. The rest of it’s precious nature it sells, Farming out our planet Like so much revenue, So much revenue. It sells, And cuts, And drills, Until michigan is left with a poor imitation of what it once was. A vacation spot for company owners to market, A oasis that is desperately attempting to regrow. Interesting fact, There are more trees here But this isn’t just a Michigan problem.
