Formabilio Loves Energy Saving (And You Should, Too!)

Formabilio joins “M’illumino di meno”, the energy saving campaign launched by Italian radio show Caterpillar 10 years ago to encourage energy conservation and a better environmental quality.

10 ENERGY SAVING TIPS

1.    Turn off your lights when you don't need them

2.    Reduce stand-by power use: switch your electronic devices off!

3.    Defrost your refrigerator frequently and make sure there is space enough between the coil and the wall to get better air circulation

4.    Put a lid on the pot when you boil water and don’t extend the flame level beyond the edges of the pot or pan on the burner

5.    Too hot inside the house? Keep windows closed and turn down the radiator

6.    Apply window insulation

7.    Hang curtains on front door and windows 

8.    Never cover radiators with curtains!

9.    Place insulation panels between the wall and the radiator

10.  Drive less and start your own car sharing program!
