Been reading recently about how people during the napoleonic wars would press gang their one literate friend into reading out the news to everyone else and thinking that this probably happens to Mary a lot

OCtober Day 4: Sona/Self Insert OC
The lil guy I made when I was 8 will always be my mascot aha
idk if i ever shared this! a lineup of characters my partner and i were rping for a while, they ended up being a fun bunch. from left to right:
Maksim (they/them) A knight recently turned into a vampire and trying soooo hard to be a good person
Poe (they/them) A changeling witch, who "helps" Maksim out. Selfish lil shit.
Whisper (he/they) A demon, formerly Poe's familiar, they turned him into a crow and he's never gonna forgive them for it.
Ira (she/her) Maksim's ex, they accidentally killed her when they were turned. She's back from the dead and wants revenge.
Eoin (he/him) Poe's human counterpart, Just a Guy!
Conlang!
Iruga is a fictional language of Aerda spoken by the Irugatites which one of my characters, Eoin (AY-oh-ihn), speaks. (He's my profile pic :D) It is written with an abjad with a small exception of two "vowel letters" like Hebrew and is widely considered a "dead" language used mostly by Irugatite scholars and religious folk. On Aerda, it's spoken mainly by the Irugatite elites to convey high social class, though some folk songs are still passed down in some families. It is also used in certain fields of study such as medicine, dracology, and theology.
@legioneoin location: dealer's choice notes: kiss kiss :(
While the memories of what had happened began to fade, how Atlas had felt when Eoin hadn't come back from that tower had not. Bits and pieces of the dream that was that other life still lingered, he knew the story now because everyone in Rome did. Eoin was among this group of people that had gone on for like... Fifteen years or something crazy, alone at the end of the world. Meanwhile Atlas had dropped dead in the first week because his archdruid hadn't been able to stop himself. Where did that leave them? Maybe nowhere, but there were some things that the druid needed to see to before he settled on where he was going to stay. Rome, elsewhere, Atlas was still trying to make up his mind; truthfully Octavian had a lot to do with that.
"I know for you-" Atlas didn't really know what to say to someone who'd known the druid fifteen years prior, fifteen years for Eoin but fifteen days for Atlas. What a mind fuck. "for you it was forever ago, but... whatever you did, whatever you had to do. I'm really grateful to you. I don't really remember much but I remember worrying about what was going to happen to you after everything fell apart."
I have the feeling that RO!Eoin would be Quaboths BFF, I mean they do are pretty similar in a way.
You don't realize how right you are, Anon... they might even share something more meaningful... 🤔
Thanks for the ask!! 🖤🖤
