Happy Juneteenth 🫶 a reminder to fellow white queer people that Black pride is part of pride month because without the support of so many Black people we probably wouldn't be here today. They're one of the backbones (and probably the largest) of our community and pushing their fight for equality aside for a show made by a racist mfer really doesn't sit right with anyone who cares (we all know which fandom we're talking about here)

I wish I could hold every young black lesbian and let them know they do Not have to be the masculine one , they don’t have to be the strong one, they don’t have to be the taking care of others all the time. We’re also allowed to have people gentle to us , we can be weak and sensitive, we are allowed to be soft and feminine, we don’t have to constantly overcompensate. And the ones that are masculine you deserve to be loved so gently too, you deserve flowers and kisses and love letters. You’re allowed to just be black and pretty and let the world love you.

And the world will love you simply because you exist not by the basis of what you have to offer to others.
