omg i forgot to make this post when it happened but this is hilarious
so i pulled out of school for the semester because of medication changes and anxiety issues, and i'm really close with my advisor so she knew all this. when i went to her to be advised for the next couple of semesters, she asked me what i'd been up to, and i explained my schedule to her, the dieting and exercise and writing and stuff. of course she asked what i was writing, if i was journaling or what, so i told her i was writing kind of a cheesy romance novel, and told her it dealt a lot with depression and anxiety
and she was like "i'd love to read it" and i must have looked kind of sketchy because she was like, "i don't mind if it has erotica in it" and i was like "hehe oh well maybe..."
but i didn't have the heart to be like "it's between 2 dudes and there's blow jobs and potentially buttsex but i'm not there yet"

Notes on the Celtic Thunder concert, for anyone interested: 1. Ten out of ten would recommend any day of the week, month, year, or millennium. 2. I find it ironic that George Donaldson sings "Scarlet Ribbons" when he, in fact, has absolutely no hair in which to put scarlet ribbons. 3. WHO AUTHORIZED EMMET CAHILL TO WEAR THAT TIGHT PURPLE SHIRT? 4. Likewise, WHO AUTHORIZED RYAN KELLY TO WEAR THAT LONG BLACK COAT? 5. Keith Harkin and Colm Keegan make adorable banter even more adorable for their Irish accents. 6. Neil Byrne is like a hyper-adorable Hobbit. 7. If you don't get choked up at Ryan Kelly singing "Carrickfergus", you have no heart. 8. RYAN KELLY. 9. RYAN. 10. Go see them. It's so fun.
