I had this idea for a lil art challenge in my head for a while so i tried it out :) Basically I wanted to draw certain scenes using the colour palette/style/composition from a song that resonates with that specific moment, so here’s a few from Part I! I really enjoyed this and I love how they turned out too! Enjoy ~

Outfit Reference Sheets [Revised & Revived]

Like any project in the long term, a healthy dose of revision can help refresh the art direction when it may begin to feel stale.

I mean to highlight these works in particular because they function as a reference to both you and I — and if they feel incomplete to me, it will fester into my writing and planning. My approach to digital art has changed almost completely from when I first started and I feel much more confident tackling details that I struggled with months prior (shading and blending don’t feel like a chore anymore?? Who knew! Also vibrant colours??? Why do I always forget to draw what I enjoy??!)

All of this is to say that, even with the steep learning curve, I enjoy the art process far better now! <3

Welcome to a little blog dedicated to posting art and related works for my current haikaveh piece on ao3! This is a long term project that I’ll be working on in intervals so I hope you’ll enjoy the journey as much as I do!
