(i stg this drama would not have worked if they had cast anyone else as ye ping'an. ditto shawn dou for yuan shaocheng. they are perfection)
I love the fact that they portray Ye-laoshi not only as a brave/kind/free-thinking woman but first and foremost as a teacher. The way she tries to encourage the girls is really something a teacher should do, could have done. So surprisingly natural.
As a person working in the same field I'm so happy with this representation. Another favorite school scene of mine in cdramas alongside with Fang Zhou calming down young monsters.
I swear Ep 14 is Murong Qingyi at his peak badassery and Ep 15 is his most pathetic. Like literally he goes from slaughtering people with a bullet wound and "kill me if you dare"
to "those bad guys hurt me, I demand to be babied"
