Wow, I loved that episode, Salesa was so much fun! Absolutely adored him and Martin bonding over their weird, post-apocalyptic avatar partners and teasing Jon XD.
Back to our regularly scheduled nightmare fuel next week, I’m sure, but that was a fun break.
Also, I’m sure Annabelle is working some nefarious angle, but maybe she just... wants a friend? The whole “I thought you might want to hear a friendly voice” sounded a bit “talking about you, but I actually meant me”. Martin has already demonstrated a love of spiders and at least one fear avatar, he’s not the worst choice to reach out to if you’re a monstrous spider demon who just wants to share a nice cup of tea and maybe whine about the apocalypse.
