[Detective Conan: Ep 190] [Magic Kaito 1412: Ep 24]
episode 190: Angel Island Obliterated! the Horror of the Raigo's Advent!
robin being 100% focused on their goal, and less so their survivial, is very funny and in character, as is usopp's self-preservation goals. his face here is so funny. like a kid watching his parents decide they want to eat at home when he was already promised they'd go out for pizza.
this repeated animation of luffy running up the giant jack feels like really smooth. oddly so.
again, i kinda love that luffy can just kinda run up walls whenever he wants as long as the plot calls for it.
i actually laughed sadly when he fell PAST EVERYONE.
i can't tell if him saying this and luffy's response counts as an actual conversation or if they are both saying two unrelated things that happen to go together because there is no way they could actually hear each other.
i was genuinely surprised something along these lines wasn't created/ used earlier. gum gum yoyo feels like, idk the first??? thing you would think of if you had a giant ball attached to your arm.
this is so funny but how the hell did she not see him?

really like the effects here, especially the 3d? swirling misty thing they do the sphere's surface.
these shots are so powerful. the elder being stonefaced is a good little character detail. but i really do like dramatic shots like this, where the characters are just static, reduced to monochrome colors at the power of something.
you know it's bad when my by Gan Fall is freaking out. we've never seen him this bad.
i really like this moment. that being said i don't entirely love that the focus seems to have shifted less from stopping eneru the genocidal maniac to ringing a giant bell so your friend isn't sad. granted these two go hand in hand but this arc has weird flip-flopping motives sometimes.
sorry but eneru just kicking his hand off is fucking hilarious, like a bugs bunny gag.
eneru being able to snipe with the lightning is pretty damn cool tho. still sucks.
Okay episode 190, cult members yay!
“LUCY!!!”
I love the TMA season 5 subplot of Martin's quest to sit in a comfortable chair
