hey I HATE THIS right at teh start of the episode! i was so happy like "oh man usopp has some sorta scheme! like the ketchup star!" but he just gets fucking fingerblasted jesus christ.
one thing i did notice though is that it appears as though they have to say the ability to use it. i may be entirely wrong and this simply may be an "anime" shit, but maybe covering their mouths, similar to how some spells can have verbal components in dnd/p2e?

i love the change in her experssion, like, she KNOWS he's telling the whole truth here, and that scares her.

i love how big yokozuna is compared to luffy. a fact i loved even more when i googled his name to check the spelling and found out that he was a sumo wrestling champion. the more you know!

here it is. this is one of my favorite scenes in the show so far, and one of my favorite quotes in the show period.. this quote hit me hard. in the context of this scene, it's already incredibly powerful, but when you look at in today, in our current world... it just achieves a whole different even more powerful meaning. i love this quote, this scene, and genuinely want to get the manga panel of this quote tattooed on my arm at some point. i love it that much. it really shows an infinite compassion from franky, and i think we could all use more of that.
