i love the way the snails look, but the way they animated this particular one falling asleep/dying is so fucking funny. little blorbo just melts.

aww, this made me so sad. dragons are always depicted as old/ ancient in a lot of media, but seeing this one, a husk of its former self, barely alive, just a sack of flesh, reminiscing of an infinite life long since past, so depressing.... :(

her expression is so cute and so angry hahaha!

i adore this scene! it's so simple, a basic static shot, but they do it so calmly. usually they're at each other's throats! a quick scene, doesn't add anything to the episode, just a cute quick scene. i love these slower paced "filler" eps because we can get calmer, tender moments like these. and the voice actor for sanji having several different variations of "here, zoro" is also very charming!

luffy, when faced with a mysterious, possible magical wall, doesn't show a single sign of fear. what a lovable idiot...

there shot just before this where apis' hands start bleeding from the friction of the rope made my physically cringe. ugh, poor child. but then ZORO! what a badass.

i like the unique aesthetic of the ruins! the V-kinda shaped thing looks cool!

APIS MY POOR BABY! love this joke though. imagine being the hero of legend, but just too short to save the kingdom.

grandpa ryu having the same expression as everyone else is such an underrated joke.
