Side Note About the Season 15 Finale
It crossed my mind while watching Ep. 1510 that with "Chuck" the (apparent) head groomsman at Fairfield, the character of Harry has probably long since retired.
You'll remember Harry: he was the one trying without success to work with Promise in Ep. 103 (Breaking Free), and Lisa tells him to stop because the horse is acting wild, and they're getting nowhere with her. That's when Lisa asks Amy if she's up for the task, and of course Amy does what Amy does best, and Promise's behaviour is adjusted.
I wonder if the Heartland Writers are aware of how much Harry, a one-off character from Season One, gets used in fanfiction land by those of us in the Heartland fandom. I know I've certainly used him, and many of you out there have, too.
So, here's to Harry: the (apparent) head groomsman who in my head-canon has worked at Fairfield Stables since probably the very beginning; who was never seen again after Season One, but lives on in fanfiction land.
