Leigha is having her last date tonight on the Island, as she leaves tomorrow for the mainland in Windenburg to start her college career. She and Lucas Nicholson have been dating since sophomore year.

LEIGHA- (to herself) "You do look good, but why does this dress make me look fat??"  She hears the doorbell and runs to greet Lucas.

LUCAS- "I know roses are kind of cheesy but I couldn't think of what else to give you."

LEIGHA- "Awww, Luke it is beautiful. Thank you, you deserve a kiss."

LUCAS- "Be careful, your dad is not around is he?"

LEIGHA- "How many times have I told you that you don't need to be afraid of dad. Come on out back, I need to talk to you."

LUCAS- "Talk? This sounds serious..."

LEIGHA- "It is so pretty back here I am going to miss this. So, Luke, I was thinking...now that I am going to Windenburg University, and you are going to Oasis Spring College, I thought maybe...

LUCAS- "Wait...don't say it. I love you Leigha and I have a feeling I know what you are about to say."  He goes to put his arm around her.

LEIGHA- "I am serious Luke. I care about you, very much, but I think it's time...

Her dad comes out and interrupts them...

REED- "Good evening Luke...It's time to go, it is past eleven, and you know the rules."

LUKE- "Sorry Mr. Holmes, I hear you.  I am outta here.  Leigha, it's okay. We will be together, but maybe if you need a break, I understand."

She was sure she saw a tear in his eye, and she certainly didn't want it to go the way it did.  But, it is for the best. Tomorrow starts a brand new journey for her, and she doesn't want limits.

Days, then weeks, then months passed, with no clue to where Sarah's and Augustin's murderer was, or even if it was Edmund Holmes.  All evidence pointed to him, but he is yet to be found. So not only has Reed lost his mother, and does not know if his mother was involved in a cruel plan to inact revenge upon his husband, but he has to live with the fact that members of his family hated his husband's father so much that they threatened him and his children.

Reed's cousin Tony was cleared of any wrong-doing, and has become the only family that he can trust, other than Calvin and his children. His emotional pain is beginning to wear on him. He has become distant, and quiet.

Cal continues to help, but he feels the Reed he once knew is slowly slipping away.

Reed's sister, Sofia has also been deeply effected by her mother's death and the circumstances surrounding it, but she has other issues she has to deal with as well, Brandon Marcum.
