My game of the year is a fan PC port of a Gamecube port of a Dreamcast game that came out 25 years ago and when I tell you it's peak you aren't gonna get it. You just gotta hop on. It's pure y2k MMO action RPG jank from a time before WoW, when playing an MMO didn't come with a barrage of infomation and math. The community is small but friendly and welcoming. The gameplay ranges from a super chill beat em up to frantic tactical team based action to a Tamagotchi with a social element. You should be playing this game. Hop on the Ephinea server and don't forget to feed your Mag its little treats!

I've been doing some side quests for lore, and I'm realizing that the scientists of Pioneer 1 have a recurring pattern of trying to flush their failed experiments and it's cracking me up.

De Rol Le was a worm that the researchers made that could mutate other creatures, then they shoved it down a drain and that's apparently how it ended up in the canal you fight it in.

Olga Flow got shoved into a hole at the bottom of the sea for similar reasons, which is pretty fucking similar to being flushed down the toilet as well...

Considering the Ruins are an old space ship and Dark Falz was sealed inside of it, are we entirely certain that one of Dr Otso's previous incarnations didn't try to flush that thing down the toilet like a dead goldfish, too?!
