        it’s  here. a  moment  that   ,   before   ,   yang  has  secretly  only  been  able  to  think  or  daydream  of.   although  their  arrival  in  atlas  has  been  beyond  ideal   ,  what  matters  most  is  that  everyone  is  here  together  rather  than  being  scattered  once  more  akin  to  dying  autumnal  leaves.   &.   above  all . . .  blake.    here.   a  daydream  where  soft  morning  light  shimmers  through  drawn  curtains   &.   the  scent  of  blissful  familiarity  wafts  through  nostrils  whilst  the  warmth  of  another  graces  sun  -  glown flesh.  though  the  events in  which  it  is  fulfilled  have  been  bittersweet   &  . rough  ,  the  daydream  come  true  is  certainly  more  sweet   &.  much  beyond  what  yang  could ’ ve  possibly  imagined.    she  hasn ’ t  realized  it  at  first  ,   but  at  some  point  through  the  night   ,   dragoness  has  managed  to  securely  coil  strong   (   yet  tender   )   arms  around  belladonna ’ s  figure  ,   pulling  her  closer  to  chest   ;   she  doesn ’ t  dare  fight  it  now  that  she ’ s  beginning  to  rise  like  the  sun  over  snowy  mountain  tops.

        hushed  &.  soft  is  the  groan  -  mixed  yawn  coming  from  throats’  pyres  ,  brows  knitting  together   &.  the  rest  of  yang ‘ s  visage  contorting  as  though  she ‘ s  some  sort  of  child  trying  to  fight  awakening   &.   drift  into  blissful  slumber  once  more  ,   but  there ‘ s  something  that  has  other  plans  in  store  for  her.   not  the  illuminating  beams  from  outside  ,  no  ,  instead  a  touch  so  intoxicating   &.   divine  that  yang  has  no  other  choice  than  to  oblige.  dreamy  lavenders  peer  to  daylight.  although  at  first  vision  is  blurry   &.   it  takes  a  few  blinks  for  anything  to  properly  register   ,   what  rests  before  her  is  worth  the  wait.  ethereal  midnight   ,   adorned  soul  piercing  amber  gaze   &.  a  touch  so  disgustingly  sweet  leaving  yang  wanting  more  &.  more  like  the  tales  of  greedy  dragons.  blake  has  always  been  unearthly  in  her  beauty  ,  this  much  is  true   ,   but  something  about  this  place   &.   all  the  hell  they ‘ ve  been  through  to  get  here  . . .  she ‘ s  more  beautiful  than  ever  before.    red  flourish  to  cheeks.   hand  of  golden  sinew  coming  to  caress  she  -  enigma ‘ s  own.    ❛     z  -  zǎoshang  ,  huálì.      ❜

        storms leave naught but chaos &. damage in their wake , as do the bulls that see unholy crimson &. charge with storm intent , but where life stands &. the sun shines , there shall always be room for the wreckage to be rebuilt. to be rekindled like a dying flame. &. here they stand in the midst , the sun &. her moon ; for the first time in a very long time , yang feels solace rushing through her veins something fierce amongst the adrenaline of battle. dragoness feels pride knowing that she &. blake have overcome their monstrosity in red , in knowing that both of them can sleep with both eyes closed for once. golden doused heart thrums within sanctum of chest , heavy breaths flitting from an agape , fanged mouth , though yang seems to forget it all the second she pulls a battle worn belladonna to her arms. ( you’re safe. we’re safe. he can’t hurt us anymore. )         bloodied muscle embraces calm as blake’s purr reverberates through yang’s entirety ; she’s not sure if it’s out of pain or happiness , but she takes it regardless &. girl umbra is a fool if she thinks sunny dragon will ever let go of it. or her for that matter , for strong arms coil tight ‘round petite frame despite knees being pressed so , so harshly into the soft dirt below. ( it doesn’t matter. i’ve felt worse ! )   ❛       hey , look at us .. a couple of winners , eh ?  not too shabby for a couple of beacon run offs.     ❜  jests in lieu of recent events , sun kissed visage soon taking refuge in the crook of blake’s neck like yang’s very life depends on it.   ❛       .. back at the barn , i – i got it now. ‘ n i’m sorry for stomping off the way i did.     ❜   slowly does she beast lift sunlit crown from shadows’ veil &. slowly does hand of flesh &. bone reach to cup blake’s cheek in palm. all the while pools of molten amethyst gaze into molten golds waiting for her across the way.        ❛       i got your back. always.     ❜  &. that’s a promise.

          THOUGH THE WINDOW TO THEIR ROOM IS TINY,   the moonlight seeping in frames golden eyes to look like halos, a yellow blessing granted to ilia’s own eyes as she glances at blake’s figure atop the higher bunk bed.  after ilia shuts their creaking door behind her, she turns to her suitcase &&. pulls out a pair of charcoal sweatpants &&. a baggy white t-shirt to change into.  she doesn’t think about the fact that blake might look at her, &&. the thought doesn’t really bother her.  belladonna’s stifled feelings were read by ilia as unrequitedness, during her days in the fang, &&. now.  her journey from fully healing is far from at its end — any progress she made is quickly crumbling out from under her feet, &&. though amitola is horrified of falling again, it’s too late.  she’s already mentally acknowledged it, &&. she’s about to verbally.  after settling into the lower bunk &&. wrapping herself up in sheets, steeled hues stare at the boards above her.  &&. it’s almost mindless / nonchalant the way she brings it up.  “ you know, i ... i think i lied to you the other night. ”  when i said i was over it.  “ i think part of me is always going to love you. ”  with that statement spoken aloud, she shifts in her bed, wrapping her arms around her pillow &&. resting her head upon it.  reptilian allows her lids to flutter shut ( nothing more needed to be said in her eyes — she just wanted blake to know ).

@ephmrele poked the heart for a start!

          “Blake, that’s not a good id-!”

          Aaaaaaannnnnnnnd she did it anyway...these girls and their insane trust in their weapons to keep them from falling to their doom! Well, he had little choice but to try and keep up so he steeled himself and followed the Faunus off the edge of the cliff, mind forming a landing strategy the second he left solid ground. A flip around, he drug Stormflower into the side of the sheer cliff, digging in and slowing his descent until he yanked them free and fell the rest of the way down to land safely on the dirt below and give Blake a look of slight annoyance.

          “Ok, so your way is quicker, that was true.”
