It's a Epic way of getting lost....
Epic adventure TAT: A whumpee and whumper, in some kind of codependent abusive relationship, are both part of a D&D-style adventuring party. Their companions know they're together and know their relationship is... kind of messed up, but they don't do much about it because they need whumper's skills or because they think whumpee deserves it for some reason.
During the adventure, whumper gets killed, and the rest of the party has to deal with whumpee, who they don't even like much in the first place, having a complete mental breakdown in reaction. They could all end up becoming (good or not-great) caretakers, or there could be a split in the party, or they could just abandon whumpee.
Sorry to hear actor Joe Lara has died. I liked him in both versions of Tarzan that he starred in.
