Hello -

I was born in Jackson, Michigan on Nov 11th, 1981. I’m a self-taught filmmaker, currently working on my first feature-length documentary, FOR THOUSANDS OF MILES, a story inspired by my own 4,200 mile cross-country bicycle trip.

By day I help create stories for companies including NBC, Smashface, MRC, Vimeo, and Disney. Most recently, our small team co-directed the stop-motion short film, BLANK, partnering with Google for a special first-of-its-kind Valentines experience. 

I currently live in Los Angeles with my beautiful and talented wife, Erica Hampton.

blip on blip #54: This week Annie chats with our Content Operations Manager, Aaron Sonnenberg, who has been with our Content Team and blip.tv for a very long time. Besides pulling pranks around the office, he works very closely with web series producers on a day-to-day basis. Watch this interview for his tips on making a successful web series. Zadi Diaz, co-creator and host of the long-running series, Epic Fu, stopped by the LA office. Annie finds out about the genesis of the show, the evolution of the series through the years, and how Steve and Zadi worked to cultivate a community of fans based around interaction.

pedal on jetset

First off, I am super, super excited to be on this week’s JETSET show! Which, I should mention, just signed a licensing and distribution deal withNext New Networks, which is great news for the shows creators: Steve and Zadi. Congrats!

Secondly, I promise that Episode 4 is on it’s way very, very soon – it’s a bit more elaborate than the first three, and I got a very late start on it. Which is another story for another time.
