Lockheed C-140A JetStar / Edwards AFB / May 1970
Worn on March 11 in Richmond, VA. We went for the Christian Siriano exhibit, which I’ll share in a separate post.
It was a beautiful evening when we got there, like 80 degrees, and then snowed the next day!
We stayed in an old carriage house. I’ve always wanted to do that because in my hometown there were several that were converted to apartments and I always found them so charming but never was able to go inside them.
We were right next to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. That big face is in their garden.
My look is an old standby—70s Jet Set Glam ✨🕶️ (but it’s actually a Pokémon dress 😂)
Mark Newson's Qantas inspired 737 BBJ
In 2014 Marc Newson designed a mock-up of a 737 BB. The idea never actually came to life and to this day remains a mock up.
The 737 planned to have a master bedroom with an ensuite, sitting room, massage room, living room, dining room, crew quarters, galley and lavatories.
