Today life gifted me with an epic day. I ran along trails with the Pacific Ocean on one side, grazing elk on the other, and the crystal-clearest winter blue sky above me. It ended at the beach where I sat on driftwood and reflected on the year behind us. I popped open some Sauvignon Blanc to bid adieu to 2015 and on my last sip, I decided to send it to the air to see where the world would take it. I don't know how and I don't know why, but I was able to capture it in its perfect expression: flying freely from the enclosure of my glass to perfectly frame its creator, the Sun. Back to the beginning. Every year is a new start, a continuation of the cycle. I am grateful for the sun, water and wine - three things that have brought me my greatest experiences in life. So cheers to you my friends, to the year ahead, and to the exciting adventure that is always around us. 🌅☝ #2016 #epicdays #gogetit (at Point Reyes-McClures Beach)
