just. Athena and Odysseus never catching each other at the right time. Athena and Odysseus learning from each other, but in reverse. Athena wishing she could go back and lead with more empathy and be his friend. Odysseus wishing he could go back and listen to her advice from the beginning. Each of them moving forward with those lessons. Athena seeing how right Odysseus was when she adopts Telemachus as not only a student, but a friend. Odysseus telling Athena that the better world they dreamed of is beyond his years, but she (and his son) would be around long enough to create it.
