the epilepsy au actually does still make sense in canon even after that scene in the cartel hospital where the cartel doctor is listing jesse's physical traits and doesnt mention epilepsy as a condition he has because the doctor also says that jesse is 180 centimeters which is so visibly, transparently, obviously untrue that we can then surmise that this guy actually doesnt know anything about jesse, including his neurological conditions

one of my favorite beats of the epileptic jesse au is that part of the tension of "grilled" is the threat of him seizing from the missed meds + insane stress because tuco will absolutely just start showering him with bullets if he starts convulsing, but he manages to get by and even crosses the desert with walt after they escape without a tonic clonic seizure and gets home like "fuck yes. im never gonna almost die of epilepsy out in the desert #myinvincible", meanwhile "4 days out" is waiting in the wings just a few episodes away like

part of the reason epileptic jesse is so unforthcoming and jaded about his condition is that he had a massive seizure at someone's house party one time and got dragged into a back room once he stopped moving so no one would be tempted to call for help and potentially get the party broken up or its guests in trouble for using hard drugs. not exactly a good impression of how other people might react if he's Disabled in their presence
