#college history professor was an asshole who gave quizzes on things we weren’t told to study and he’d hand your papers back covered in tea #stains. he also would give pop quizzes on very specific local geography and history because he expects all of us to know everything about #the town we live in…it was a world history class and the only class I ever dropped.#I’m good at history #but this guys was an asshole

The strobing in media is getting out of hand. Like, shoot, I don't have to worry about seizures personally but it's still an obnoxious feature regardless. Even worse for people with epilepsy

Anybody here every read Alexander and the terrible horrible no good very bad day? That’s me this week, firstly I have bronchitis and an a sinus/ear infection. Next I start my period.

Being sick and on your period should be outlawed. These status ailments shouldn’t stack!

THEN, and this is the KICKER, my boss just calls and lays me off “for the foreseeable future” and he can’t afford payroll. He’s scrounging to find enough to pay my paycheck he owes me and when he DOES pay me, that’ll be it.

I had I feeling this was coming. He laid off my only other coworker (my sister btw) the other day, so I saw this coming…but it’s still extremely disappointing. I KNEW this was coming! He started using Claude AI for just about everything a month or so ago. And he acts like he so progressive but he’s centrist at best. It’s so frustrating.

Luckily I’m doing ok, my family has my back and I’m not hurting too much financially cause we support each other. I dread having to look for work cause I’m disabled so my options are extremely limited.

I might start offering art commissions if I have to.

Sorry for ranting, it’s just such an annoying week .
