Episode titles and references, seasons 11, 12, 13
I added season 13 onto this list because I could only find one reference in all of the episode titles.
11.2: Merlot Mysteries - riff on Murdoch Mysteries
11.6: 21 Murdoch Street - a 2012 movie 21 Jump Street staring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill (which was adapted from the 1987 tv show)
11.9: The Talking Dead - the AMC show The Walking Dead
12.3: My Big Fat Mimico Wedding - a 2002 rom com My Big Fat Greek Wedding
12.4: Murdoch without Borders - a riff on the organization Doctors Without Borders
12.5: The Spy who Loved Murdoch - the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me
12.10: Pirates of the Great Lakes - the franchise Pirates of the Caribbean (probably)
13.10: Parker in the Rye - a 1951 novel The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger
Dis Gun’ Be Good!
If this week’s blog is any indication, Highs and Lows is going to be a stellar episode.
1) It was written by Mark Haroun, and I always love his scripts.
2) Georgie tackles that “ghost” from her past—the drunk driver responsible for her biological parents’ deaths—something I speculated might happen. Though it’s happening the other way around: I thought perhaps Charles (now we know his name) would be the one seeking out Georgie to ask her forgiveness; instead, it's Georgie seeking him out. For what reason? We shall have to wait and see.
3) Jisa. Need I say more? (Jealous Jack, eh? I wouldn't have thought it possible. Lisa have an old boyfriend from her time in France Jack should be worried about? 😆)
And the BW even gave us three Lisa pictures; one of which was solely Lisa! Things are looking up.
Another attempt at a video-to-gif. Not much else to say.
In case you were wondering what kinds of changes have happened at Fairfield over the past ten seasons... y’know, other than Lisa going almost broke. The signage received an update! (Comparison between how it appeared in Ep. 103 and how it appears now in Ep. 1102.)
Playing around with something new; Custom Captioned scenes from Episodes. (The comic stuff was fun, for sure, but this is different.)
jordm said: @the-real-tc is it too premature to say season 11 is already looking better than season 10 despite Lou being absent again?Ty is alive and well.. so far, Lisa is more present than last season and Amy is riding again, plus Georgie’s storyline is already looking better. With jade being soooo wise this episode and cautiously right you’d think she’d remember that maybe she should be driving
Nah, I don’t think it’s ever too early to be optimistic about the trajectory of the season. We still have some major themes to discover, like that of what Ty’s going to be up to, and how Tim’s “dark times” (paraphrasing) come into play.
I hope Jade’s maturing ways continue; it’s about time she grew up.

Loved it! Love the new side to Jade. Georgie had s great performance, as did Peter. But of course, I loved loved Jack and Lisa. Lisa putting her employees first and Jack being all proud of her. Very curious to see if Fairfield stays afloat. I can picture Val making jabs at Lisa about it.
Val had better not make jabs at Lisa about it! If the market for expensive horses is drying up, how much better can Briar Ridge be faring? Maybe that’s why Val was so desperate to get Flame back in proper form? Because he was such a heavy investment? I really want to see how this plays out!
