this guy looks just like how I imagined spectre’s head would look after reading a fanfiction, it’s crazy

I have no idea who this businessman looking guy is but I’m on team leilah because she seems less suspicious

I’m just crossing my fingers that leilah didn’t lie about this, or worse, something goes wrong when she’s getting her ability back

I love that they still refer to her as someone powerful, I’m glad he hasn’t forgotte about how strong she used to be, and how strong she will be when her power is restored.

just realized that uh.... della coming back and being a pilot that in theory crashes less (though she’s at a 66% crash rate so far on screen) is a threat to launchpad’s job security which will lead him to thinking that scrooge hasn’t fired him yet to spare his feelings (out of context quote “JUST FIRE ME ALREADY AND GET IT OVER WITH”) and not only that but she is instant bonding with dewey on an extreme level to the point where they easily jinx each other and have the same sense of humor and adventure seeking. and dewey is launchpad’s best friend.

so while launchpad should be happy/happy for the (mc)ducks that della is back. and he definitely is on a surface level. he has that gnawing feeling that he isn’t needed in the mcduck staff anymore and not even as dewey’s friend. causing the out of context quote “I’M TRAPPED IN A PRISON OF MY OWN GUILT” because no matter how much he doesnt want to he feels like he’s being elbowed out and cast aside.

this will probably come out in the may 17th episode which is supposedly episode 216 which frank said was launchpad centric. and could possibly lead to launchpad “running away” from mcduck manor and trying to find a new niche to fill in a different family (beagle boys? darkwing? going back to the mcquacks?)
