This is part of why retconning Rey as a Palpatine and then having her take the Skywalker name all without really explaining any of it well made no sense. TROS did so much disservice to Rey as a character. It’s sad to think this is the message the trilogy left kids with at the end. That it’s better to lie than be your true self. 😔
