3. Ask them to describe their love interest.
They’re stunning, standing out wherever they go. Their dark fur shines under the sun, only highlighting their trained forms. They’re both passionate and strong. Epnu is caring and generous, and it can be heard through her beautiful voice whenever she’s talking or singing. Tasaba has a deeper understanding of magic than many scholars I’ve met, in both theory and practice. Should you meet them on the battlefield or in a sparring ring, you’ll recognize them as the scariest opponents you’ll have to face or the best allies you could ask for.
4. Do they look good in red?
He thinks so, but he prefers touches of it than a full red outfit. He could probably pull it off, red and white offer a nice contrast.
12. Do they like romance in the books they read (or in the book they’re in)?
Not really. He finds that it’s often tacked on many stories without need for it, and it’s rarely handled well even in stories it’s a centerpiece of. It can also carry troubling messages and concepts with it.
14. Would they agree with the term ‘guilty pleasure’? Do they have any?
For him, it is a phenomenon that invites self-reflection. Is the source of guilt truly the same as the source of pleasure, or is it an unnecessary association? If it is, is the act that brings it something that is morally objectionable? He’s not immune to it himself, and had a hard time accepting some of the things he enjoyed, most recently spending time with the Nef sisters and their family. But he also had to learn before that what he could be prideful of, and that there wasn’t that much joy to be taken out of flaunting a topical superiority on others.
17. Do they like children?
He does! Children are full of potential and curiosity, always eager to learn, be it through play or through other activities. They’re also generally a great audience for a clever trick or two.
20. What do they like that nobody else does?
Nobody else is a stretch. He enjoys calm and meditation. He enjoys being proven wrong, as long as it doesn’t bring to light the consequences of a prior mistake. He enjoys being overwhelmed by options or thoughts, to a certain measure.
22. Do they like being called pet names? Do they call other people pet names? What’s their go-to?
No. Titles are fine, but nicknames will bring about passive-aggressive responses from anyone he’s not very, very close to. In return, he tends to avoid using “pet names”, though if he feels poetic he might sometimes use names different than the people he’s talking to or about, as paraphrases or metaphors.
39. What are their opinions about fishing in seas’ shallow waters?
An incredibly specific question! He doesn’t know too much about fishing, but he thinks that it’s probably easier than in deeper ones?
