Alright so I know a lot of people are confused/underwhelmed/cringing from how easily Odysseus made Poseidon stop the storm, but I have a theory
Gods are pretty immune to injury, like if you struck them with a building they'd get up in a few hours more or less.
But (and this is just a theory) what if there are two exceptions? A) if another god/primordial/titan injured them, or b) if you injured them with their own weapon/symbol of power.
Think about it. Kronos was defeated by his own sickle. What if Poseidon's kryptonite is his own trident?
